Synopsis:
Set during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan in World War II, New Fist of Fury follows a brother and sister who flee from Shanghai to Taiwan to stay with their grandfather, a kung fu school master. After their grandfather is murdered by a rival Japanese karate master aiming to dominate all martial arts schools, the siblings strive to revive their grandfather’s school. Jackie Chan portrays Ah Lung, a young thief who initially refuses to learn kung fu but eventually becomes instrumental in confronting the oppressors.
